Always feel chuffed when I get one of these

Hello Dorcas,
I have just been showing my wife my photo's from Wednesday and telling her how much I enjoyed the day. Could you please forward to me the notes that go with the course. I learnt a lot with you and would like to follow it up with the notes.

Thanks again for a great day

Cheers for now

Update your photography kit for autumn/winter

Now is the time to think about your kit in colder weather.

Think about buying some more batteries, There are some really good offers this time of year.

Amazon

7 Day Shop

Warehouse Express

Although you might think your battery has died on you in the cold weather, give it a bit of a warm up and you will find it may not have completely died!

You just don't want to be at a beautiful spot when your battery has really dies on you and you don't have a backup.

Fabulous email from someone on the course yesterday

Dorcas

Many thanks for a great day out in the Dales, despite the weather towards the end of the shoot.  Both Olly and myself really enjoyed listening to your pearls of wisdom and then trying to put them into practice.  I have just downloaded my photos to the pc and with just a quick look at them "in the raw" I can see that there will be some very good shots by my standard when I have done the magic with Photoshop. Please add me to your mailing list.

Again many thanks for a great day.

Yorkshire Photography Courses Malham Residential 7-9th September 2 places now available!! @cwildman @inbritain @yorkshire_dales @visityorkshire

Malham Midweek/Weekend Photography Workshop

No two breaks are exactly the same.

This is why you will get unique shots on your course.

You may go to the same places but they may be at different times of the day.

Before the course, I plan sunrise/sunset times, where they are going to rise or set and which Dales will get the best light at that time of year which can be quite challenging due to the orientation of the area.

I will do a quick check around the course area to make sure what I think is best works. If not I find alternatives.

This is the area that is covered on the Malham Short Break. This gives you plenty of opportunities for sunrise/sunset shots.
